Tony Krzyzewski, Director of Technology
For over forty years the name "TonyK" has been synonymous with innovation, expertise, quality and experience across many sectors of the New Zealand Information Systems industry. Tony built one of New Zealand's first microcomputers in October 1976 and that led him into a career that has included mainframe operations, gate level mainframe engineering, early microcomputing, enterprise networking and information security.
For many, Tony is considered to be one of the pioneers of the information security world and has been driving organisations towards improved security practices since 1994 when he decided to focus on the protection of information.
Tony is an Ambassador for the Global Cyber Alliance, Convener of the New Zealand International Review Group for ISO/IEC JTC001/SC27 (the ISO27000 series of standards), and New Zealand National Expert on ISO/IEC JTC001/SC27/WG01 "Information Security Management Systems". He is an active contributor to the definition of the CIS Controls. Tony is a Fellow of the Institute of IT Professionals and was Deputy President to the Institute's predecessor, the New Zealand Computer Society, in the 1990's.
When he isn't jumping up and down telling people that they need to do something in order to minimise risk to their information or teaching organisations how to safely operate unmanned aerial vehicles under the droneSafe banner, he can be found working on his model railway or driving his 7 1/4" gauge steam locomotive at the Keirunga Park Railway in Havelock North. Tony is a Life Member of the Moseley Railway Trust.
Jackie Krzyzewski, Director of Development
The real brains behind SAM for Compliance. Jackie also has forty years experience in the IT sector working in the computer operations and management field with much of that experience in the local government sector.
In the private sector Jackie is a specialist in policy and standards compliance and serial inventor of systems to assist with their management and compliance. Her previous invention, a system designed to assist with policy definition and deployment, has been sold to organisations in New Zealand, Australia, the USA, the UK and Europe since the early 2000's.
Jackie is a Past President of ALGIM, the Association of Local Government Information Management and is currently President of the Association of Independent Miniature Horse Clubs of New Zealand. In her spare time she looks after the 22 miniature horses which form the Hollywood Miniature Horse stud.
Czarny the Cat
Yes, the black cat is real and her name is Czarny (Charney). She "helped" so much in the development of the SAM for Compliance system that we felt that she really should have her name in lights.
